STEWART SWORN IN TO STATE SENATE

14th District Gains New Senator

NASHVILLE- Eric Stewart, a lifelong resident of Franklin County, was sworn into the Tennessee State Senate on Tuesday, officially becoming a member of the 106th General Assembly.

With his wife, Judy, and two children looking on, Stewart took the Oath of Office inside the Senate Chamber, and took his place as one of Tennessee’s 33 State Senators.

“Being able to serve Bledsoe, Coffee, Franklin, Grundy, Sequatchie, Van Buren and Warren County in the State Senate is a privilege I don’t take lightly,” Stewart said, “I am committed to working non-stop to listen to the issues that are important to the citizens of my district, and look forward to being their voice in the Tennessee State Senate.”
