Ideas That Work…..For People Who Work
After a hard fought primary with two great Democratic opponents, the smoke has finally cleared and I am very humbled to be the Democratic Nominee for the 14th District Tennessee State Senate.
I am very thankful for all of the great people of this district who voted for me in the primary and would like to thank everyone in every county who worked very hard to make this first step a huge success. I cannot express in words how humbling and motivating it was and is to have so many people not only pulling for me but with me in the trenches on the campaign trail.
I have spoken with my primary opponents, Steve Roller and Jim Woodard, and both have agreed to help in our general election campaign. We all wanted to win this primary very badly and each of us worked extremely hard to achieve this goal. Both of these men made me a better candidate and a better person. They should be commended and congratulated for their hard work on behalf of their values, their supporters, and their campaigns.
But we still have a lot of work to do. We have a very formidable candidate in the general election and it will take a lot more hard work to insure a victory in November. We must get our message of “ideas that work for people who work” out to the masses and get them to the polls on election day. If we vote, we WIN!
As in the primary, I need and am asking for your help, your influence, and your financial support to spread our message to the 170,000 people of our district. If we work together we will build a better Tennessee.

Unfortunately it takes a lot of money to spread our message and I can’t do it without your help.
We are getting cranked up for the general and you will be seeing and hearing much more from us in days and weeks to come. I appreciate your vote, your help, your support, and your influence. But most importantly, I appreciate your friendship.
