MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – State Sen. Eric Stewart, candidate for Tennessee’s Fourth Congressional District, kicked off a veterans listening tour today in Rutherford County. Stewart was joined by local veterans and three-star Marine Lt. General John "Glad" Castellaw at the Bumpus Harley-Davidson of Murfreesboro for a discussion on topics such as jobs for veterans, veterans benefits, and ensuring that veterans and active military members are given the support they need and deserve.

There is no question that Congress is broken and out of touch with the working families that sent them to Washington. The Congressional approval rating in our country is at an all-time low, with a recent survey showing only 10 percent of Americans approve of the job that Congress is doing.
